Skills
- Advanced SQL for complex transformations and modeling
- Proficient Python scripting and PySpark / Spark SQL for large-scale data processing
- Experience building and optimizing ETL pipelines (Airflow or similar)
- Dashboarding and visualization experience (Looker, Superset, Tableau)
- Familiarity with version control (GitHub), CI/CD, and modern development workflows
- Strong product-oriented mindset and metric definition experience
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams to scope and deliver end-to-end analytics initiatives, from metric definitions to automated reporting.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable ETL pipelines and data models using modern data tooling (e.g., Airflow, Spark).
- Lead development of analytics products — ingestion, transformation, and visualization — ensuring performance and accuracy at scale.
- Build internal frameworks and tooling to increase data accessibility, quality, and self-serve analytics across the organization.
- Collaborate with data scientists to transform raw data into production-ready datasets and actionable insights.
- Define and steward metrics, data standards, and analytics best practices throughout the company.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
