Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver multiple SaaS implementation projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are met.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, scopes, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, schedules, budgets, and risk logs, updating plans as requirements evolve.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with technical teams, resource managers, and SMEs to align deliverables with the overall implementation strategy.
  • Co-manage client engagements, including kickoff, scoping sessions, status updates, results presentations, and change requests.
  • Manage customer expectations by understanding business drivers, use cases, and high-level objectives.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks with proactive corrective actions.
  • Coordinate project staffing, defining roles, responsibilities, and resource needs throughout the lifecycle.
  • Lead project meetings and workshops to drive alignment on deliverables, timelines, budgets, and implementation considerations.
  • Monitor daily work progress, conduct quality reviews, and escalate timeline, scope, or resource issues when needed.
  • Oversee project financials, including budget performance, cost controls, and variance management to meet profitability targets.
  • Ensure completion of required project artifacts and adherence to organizational standards and methodologies.
  • Support project handoffs to support teams, ensuring customer acceptance and continuity post-go-live.
  • Provide timely and transparent status reporting on schedule, budget, progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide team members on engagement best practices and process improvements.
  • Identify and support opportunities for follow-on work and new scopes with existing clients.
  • Develop hands-on knowledge of the Resource Innovations SaaS platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical project management experience leading complex, multi-functional SaaS or technology implementation projects.
  • Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in utilities, energy efficiency, or Demand Response program management (5+ years or equivalent depth of knowledge).
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a track record of building, following, and improving structured project workflows.
  • Proven ability to translate customer requirements into actionable project plans through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining scope, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Strong customer-facing presence with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • PMP or PMI certification preferred, especially where it reflects strong process discipline and methodology adherence.
  • Willing and able to travel to client sites within the U.S. up to approximately 10% of the time.
