Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Engineering, Quality, and Procurement to align suppliers with design, material, and performance requirements for new product development.
- Support supplier qualification, capability audits, and onboarding of new vendors.
- Track and improve supplier KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness).
- Conduct cost analyses and support COGS reduction initiatives.
- Manage prototype orders, samples, and pilot production builds.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier issues affecting production, quality, or schedules.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for supplier evaluations, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
- Assist in contract reviews to ensure supplier terms align with performance expectations.
- Contribute to standardization and best practices for supplier engagement.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
