PBF Supervisor, Post Processing Technicians, Second Shift
Skills
- Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing producing mission-critical hardware
- Hands-on experience with post 3D-printing operations in a production environment
- Proven leadership managing and developing technician teams
- Practical knowledge of deburring/depowdering, Wire EDM, and vacuum heat-treat processes
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental controls for PBF
- Strong production scheduling and workflow optimization skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop 2nd shift PBF post-processing technicians, setting performance expectations and coaching for growth
- Manage daily production schedules, inventory, and workflow to meet on-time delivery targets for engine hardware
- Enforce safety protocols, monitor safety metrics, and collaborate with EHS to maintain OSHA and environmental compliance
- Perform and oversee quality inspections; work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve nonconformances
- Optimize post-processing procedures (deburring/depowdering, EDM, heat treat) and identify bottlenecks
- Advocate for and pilot new post-processing tools and technologies to improve throughput and consistency
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and document process changes and training materials
Education
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
