- Hands-on wet chemistry and lab experimentation skills

- Experience with chemical/process analysis software and simulation tools
- Familiarity with inorganic chemistry and precious metals refining concepts
- Ability to work safely in production environments and follow PPE protocols
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
- Design and model chemical engineering aspects of new processes and create detailed process flow documentation
- Assist with setup, testing, and debugging of new processing operations at pilot and production scale
- Conduct sample testing and perform pilot-scale research projects and experiments
- Collect, analyze, and report experimental and process data to inform process improvements
- Support safe operation and compliance by following PPE requirements and facility procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate lab results to pilot and commercial scale
Education
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
- Relevant coursework in chemical engineering, inorganic chemistry, process design, or materials science
