Skills
- 5+ years professional software development with substantial full-stack experience
- Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Next.js
- Experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL) and schema/optimization experience
- Experience building and managing Webflow and WordPress sites (Designer, CMS, interactions)
- Solid HTML, CSS, and responsive design skills; animations and large-graphic performance
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Awareness of security and compliance best practices for sensitive data
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional venture pods to gather requirements and architect founding codebases.
- Build rapid prototypes and demos to validate concepts with customers and stakeholders.
- Design and implement robust frontends and backend services to process and present complex data.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and performant UI/UX in collaboration with designers and PMs.
- Implement scalable APIs, database schemas, and service integrations in cloud environments.
- Maintain and build websites using Webflow and WordPress, including CMS and interactions.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimizations, and security best practices.
- Contribute up to 25% time on web development projects and ad-hoc marketing site tasks.
- Participate in bi-annual All Hands and occasional travel (~10% or less).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
