Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 3–4 data scientists and business analysts; ensure quality delivery and career development.
- Define and execute data & analytics strategy aligned to Avail business priorities.
- Partner with product, marketing, payments, compliance, and support to translate questions into analytic and modeling solutions.
- Work with large, complex datasets to build models (regression, classification, time series, clustering, advanced ML) and analytics.
- Design and analyze experiments; provide test readouts and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain trusted analytic data layers and self-serve reporting (Mixpanel, Tableau) and dashboards.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences to influence leadership decisions.
- Collaborate across Data Science & Analytics to ensure adoption and alignment of initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, CS, Engineering) required
- Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field preferred
