what healthcare job will have the most openings in the next few years?

I’m exploring career pivots into healthcare with stability in mind. I found:

  • nurse practitioners (+46%) & physician assistants (+28%)—both high earning (~$130k)
  • health services managers (+29%) with ~$118k pay
  • therapy assistants (+22–25%), home health aides (~21%)
  • BMETs (medical equipment repair techs) growing +18% @ $65k

overall healthcare jobs are expected to grow ~13% through 2033 (~1.9M openings/year). I’d love to hear if anyone is in these roles now. was it worth the training? how’s the demand in real life? especially curious about non-clinical roles that don’t require full degrees.
