My digital marketing job is fully remote-compatible, so why am in the office

Same here. Marketing role, fully async-friendly, but now I waste 2 hrs commuting to send the same emails I could write in my pajamas.

It’s control. They just want to see you working even if you’re doing less. It’s wild.

worst part is when they make you sit in a noisy open office just to Slack the person two desks down.
