don’t list “fast learner” unless you give a quick example. otherwise it’s just fluff to HR 🤷‍♀️

don’t put unemployed anywhere. reframe it as freelancing, upskilling, or just leave that time blank.

avoid “references available upon request.” we KNOW. save the space for better stuff.

team player is so overused it doesn’t even register anymore. try saying how you collaborated on a real project.

i had “jack of all trades” on mine once and someone told me it made me sound unfocused. yikes lol

Remove “Microsoft Word” unless you're applying in 1997 😭

hardworking and go-getter tell me nothing. show it with your results or accomplishments instead!

don’t use “guru” or “ninja” 💀 makes it sound like a joke. just say you’re experienced or skilled pls.
