Skills
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and version control (Git).
- Commitment to writing clean, testable, and maintainable code that others can extend.
- Familiarity with automated testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows (nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement front-end features and responsive UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Own code across its full lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering peers to refine requirements and plan sprint work.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain test-covered, well-structured codebases.
- Support operations through on-call rotations, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Propose and implement improvements to tools, processes, and testing to enhance developer experience.
- Seek mentorship and continuously grow technical skills and domain knowledge.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant coding bootcamp or professional training accepted in lieu of formal degree.
