Responsibilities
- Support continuous uptime and mission readiness for Air Force Platform One and Air Mobility Command systems during the weeknight shift
- Engineer, operate, and scale multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters across AWS/Azure/GCP
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps patterns
- Implement and enforce container and platform security aligned with DoD compliance standards
- Monitor platforms proactively and perform rapid incident response and troubleshooting
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and container image security workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across time zones and handoffs
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Eligibility for DoD Secret clearance
- CKA certification preferred
