- Deep practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender suite, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Purview.
- Ability to design KQL analytics, build Logic Apps playbooks, and operationalize SOAR patterns.
- Hands‑on configuration and tuning of DLP, sensitivity labeling, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, and retention.
- Experience mapping security controls to compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Consulting skills: discovery, backlog creation, estimation, reporting, and executive communication.
- Scripting/automation fundamentals to operationalize repeatable patterns and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end‑to‑end security roadmap items across identity, endpoint, data, app, and network control planes.
- Translate Zero Trust principles into controls across Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
- Design and tune Sentinel analytics, KQL queries, UEBA rules, and automation (Logic Apps/playbooks).
- Integrate Defender and Purview signals into incident workflows and automate triage to reduce MTTR.
- Lead Microsoft Purview implementations: sensitivity labels, DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery and retention policies.
- Harden identity, endpoints, and cloud services (Conditional Access, MFA, ASR, Defender for Cloud Apps).
- Map controls to frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, HIPAA, SOC 2) and produce audit‑ready evidence and remediation plans.
- Run technical workshops, present to technical and executive audiences, and create runbooks/SOPs.
- Mentor associate consultants and collaborate with CSMs and Security Coaches to shape scope and growth opportunities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field OR equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant vendor certifications (Microsoft security certs) strongly preferred.
