- Ability and willingness to travel to vendor sites 1-2x per month
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing strategy and vendor relationships for North American furniture manufacturers and fabric mills (MTO and stocked products)
- Lead cost negotiations, contracts, and initiatives to improve margins with Americas-based suppliers
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new factory partners with scalable capacity and reliable lead times
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Design, and Operations to launch new products quickly and reliably
- Perform regular vendor visits to audit quality, troubleshoot delivery issues, and strengthen long-term partnerships
- Drive factory-side product development cycles in partnership with Design and Merchandising
- Manage order processing with vendors: monitor production timelines, ensure SLAs, accelerate timelines when needed, and optimize quick-ship performance
- Ensure supplier compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, design, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in furniture manufacturing or sourcing
- Relevant certifications or training in sourcing, quality, or supply chain are a plus
Benefits
- Base salary range $155,000–$175,000 (may vary by experience and location)
- Bonus and equity may be provided for eligible roles
