- Deep expertise in mechanical product development, DFM, GD&T, material properties, and precision tooling design.
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating automation and robotics for assembly.
- Demonstrated TPM experience managing complex cross-functional NPI projects and external partners.
- Proficiency with PLM tools (e.g., Agile) for BOM and configuration control and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive mechanical NPI and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for high-performance storage products to enable seamless transitions to high-volume production.
- Develop and deploy automated assembly solutions, including fixture/tooling architecture, robotics integration, and process validation.
- Serve as TPM for mechanical systems, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risk, and ensuring on-time product launches.
- Select, qualify, and provide ongoing technical support to contract manufacturers and vendors to meet quality and production standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, throughput, and cost efficiency.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (required).
- Master’s degree in a related discipline (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
