We’re creating an AI-native execution operating system: a unified workbench with virtual teammates (PN agents) that offload repetitive tasks, capture organizational context, and help teams accelerate execution. By getting people aligned more quickly, ProductNow empowers humans to focus on what matters most: creativity, judgment, and collaboration.

Our first step is to meet users where much of their work already happens: in documents. We’re reimagining the document experience from the ground up, with LLMs at the core. The result is a unified, AI-native writing platform that, when paired with PN agents, blends human creativity with intelligent virtual teammates. These teammates generate content, capture context, and remove busywork—creating a faster path to alignment and a more joyful way of working.

In this role, you will

• Lead frontend-heavy development of core user-facing experiences, while being comfortable diving into backend services when needed.

• Own major product surfaces end-to-end – from design discussions and technical architecture through implementation, launch, and iteration.

• Work closely with product and design to translate ideas into intuitive, performant, and scalable features that delight users.

• Uplevel the codebase and system design by introducing best practices in architecture, testing, and maintainability.

• Mentor and guide other engineers, sharing expertise in frontend technologies, frameworks, and patterns.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, designers, and AI/infra engineers to ship features that tie into the broader execution OS vision.

• Drive technical direction for frontend systems, making decisions about frameworks, design systems, and integration patterns.

• Balance velocity with craftsmanship, knowing when to ship scrappy experiments and when to invest in scalable solutions.

• Shape the product roadmap by proactively identifying technical opportunities and user experience improvements.

• Be a culture-carrier for engineering excellence, collaboration, and an AI-native way of building.

You may be a good fit if you

• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience building modern frontend applications.

• Technical skills: Some proficiency with TypeScript, Next.js, and CSS/SCSS (or similar styling frameworks).

• Product focus: Strong track record of shipping user-facing features end-to-end, ideally in a fast-moving product environment.

• Backend: While a frontend-leaning role, you are open to learning how to work across the stack

• Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with designers, PMs, and other engineers to create intuitive, high-quality experiences.

• Code quality: Familiarity with best practices in testing, maintainability, and performance optimization.

• Adaptability: Excited to learn new technologies and approaches as the product and stack evolve.

Logistics

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Location: Hybrid — we’re in the office in Palo Alto, CA near the Caltrain station from Tuesday to Thursday, with Mondays and Fridays remote.
