Frontend Software Engineering

In this role, you will

• Lead frontend development for user interfaces, integrating with backend services for AI features.

• Own product features from ideation to deployment: Participate in design discussions, architect solutions, implement code, and iterate based on feedback.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build intuitive, scalable features.

• Maintain high standards in code architecture, testing, and system reliability.

• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in frontend technologies.

• Work with PMs, designers, and AI/infra specialists to deliver features that advance our execution OS.

• Guide frontend tech choices, including frameworks, design systems, and integrations.

• Balance rapid prototyping with building robust, long term solutions.

• Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying opportunities to improve user experiences.

• Promote a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and AI innovation.

Must Haves

• 2+ years of experience in frontend engineering.

• Production experience with React and TypeScript.

Nice to Haves

• Experience at high growth companies (e.g., FAANG or top startups).

• Track record of shipping user facing features end to end in dynamic environments.

• Strong collaboration skills with designers, PMs, and engineers.

• Expertise in testing, code maintenance, and performance optimization.

• Willingness to learn new technologies as we scale.

• Familiarity with full stack development (e.g., Node/Next.js, Prisma/Postgres).

Logistics

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Location: Hybrid — we’re in the office in Palo Alto, CA near the Caltrain station from Tuesday to Thursday, with Mondays and Fridays remote.
