Presence is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead a finance organization that is strategic, operational, and tech-enabled, driving performance across the company and optimizing financial decision-making.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include driving performance and outcomes, supporting organic and inorganic growth initiatives, managing FP&A cycles, and standardizing data analytics capabilities.
Skills: Candidates should have 12+ years of finance leadership experience, a strong grasp of financial operations, be tech-savvy, and possess exceptional communication skills.
Qualifications: Experience in a PE or VC backed environment is preferred, particularly in SaaS, EdTech, or Healthcare components, with a track record of scaling finance teams as strategic partners.
Location: This is a remote position based in the US, with a preference for Eastern Time Zone hours.
Compensation: $220000 - $250000 / Annually

What will you do at Presence?
We’re looking for a Vice President of Finance to help lead a finance organization that is equal parts strategic, operational, and tech-enabled. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for everything from operational excellence and FP&A to strategic planning, M&A, and investor communications.
You’ll report directly to the CFO, work closely with the executive team, and play a central role in defining Presence’s financial narrative, optimizing performance, and driving company-wide decisions that unlock value creation. This is a rare opportunity to build a modern finance function inside a mission-driven, growth-stage company transforming the delivery of special education.

Salary Range: $220,000 – $250,000 per year
