Ultrasound Technologist

Overview

Presbyterian is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will ensure the successful transmission of images to PACS while scheduling ultrasound cases to align with other patient exams. This position involves assisting physicians with procedures like needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies by scanning patients, marking body areas, determining angles for punctures, and maintaining sterile techniques. You will adhere to radiology and ultrasound policies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards. Additionally, you'll position and transfer patients, maintain department equipment, and order or stock supplies as needed.

Your role will include attending staff meetings, participating in in-services and workshops for professional development, and taking calls for ultrasound procedures.
