Job Summary: Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is looking for an experienced professional and join our Popeyes North America Operations Team based in Miami, FL to oversee the approval and implementation of a set of Operations Transformation initiatives to simplify kitchen operations and make Popeyes restaurants easier to run across the U.S. and Canada. This person will lead the review and approval process of these transformation initiatives to restaurants by leveraging BOH Guiding Principles, Restaurant Standards and latest operational procedures to ensure maximum efficiencies are integrated into each kitchen design. They will liaise between the Operations, Technology, and Development teams to make sure all Kitchen drawings are reviewed and approved so the restaurants can open successfully, and on schedule.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Manage the implementation of a set of key Operations transformation initiatives across restaurants construction documents.
· They will analyze and understand design requirements to produce efficient and effective technical design solutions.
· Lead the review and approval process of specific site implementation of the transformation initiatives to pilot restaurants.
· Identify, document and maintain BOH Guiding Principles and standards necessary to ensure proper alignment between key internal & external stakeholders.
· Help create and maintain the kitchen design strategy to future proof the restaurants with the help of various cross functional engagement.
· Create and maintain standards for various BOH solutions, necessary to ensure successful conversion, and opening of restaurants across the Popeyes system to support restaurant remodel brand mandates following completion of the pilot program.
· Travel throughout North America (10-30%) to meet with franchisees and vendors
Skills & Qualifications:
· 5+ years of professional experience managing large projects or transformation initiatives.
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Interior Design/Architecture program
· Proficiency in Architectural design software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite and other architectural design software.
· Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes is required.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work directly with Franchisees, vendors, and contractors.
· Experience supporting the documentation and implementation of operational improvements to enable standardization, compliance, and scalability.
· Experience in the QSR industry and/or operations background is a plus.
· Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
