DevOps Engineer
Skills
- 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles supporting CI/CD and developer platforms
- Strong AWS experience with cloud-native architecture and services
- Hands-on container experience (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control operations
- Proficient with infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with artifact management (Artifactory) and code quality tools (SonarQube)
- Solid programming/scripting skills to troubleshoot pipeline and automation issues
- Experience operating and scaling development tooling in enterprise environments
- Security-first mindset with experience applying secure SDLC controls
Responsibilities
- Provide technical ownership and day-to-day support for SDLC platforms including Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket and AWS CI/CD pipelines
- Manage and optimize artifact management (Artifactory) and static analysis tooling (SonarQube)
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code for AWS (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Build automation to reduce manual toil and accelerate developer workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex build, deployment, and integration pipeline failures
- Implement and enforce secure SDLC practices and security automation across the toolchain
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide incident response expertise during critical events
- Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver platform enhancements and documentation
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in a technical field or relevant certifications are beneficial
