- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting

- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Experience with billing/revenue integrity and coding

Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries (AJEs) and ensure correct transaction classification
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to subsidiary records monthly
- Perform account analyses and reconciliations (bank, fixed assets, accruals, prepaid)
- Support financial statement preparation and transactional coding
- Conduct daily cash and bank reconciliations and record related entries
- Assist accounts payable and receivable processes as needed
- Compile, code, and verify billing data to support revenue integrity
- Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate revenue and receivable reporting
- Assemble schedules and documentation for external auditors during audits
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and summarize findings for management
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
- Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPA or advanced accounting certification is a plus
- Relevant continuing education or accounting coursework beneficial
