Business Analyst

Point C Health is a national third-party administrator delivering customized self-funded benefit programs and innovative cost containment solutions. The Business Analyst will partner with stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document requirements, identify process improvements, support UAT, and enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

Skills

  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with Visio and Excel for process mapping and analysis
  • T-SQL proficiency for data queries and validation
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience supporting UAT and creating test cases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of healthcare data, EDI, PBMs, payer/provider systems, and claims adjudication (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and process improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows, and needs
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and user stories
  • Create process flows and data models to support solution design
  • Support UAT by developing test cases, validating results, and assisting with user training
  • Partner with project managers, developers, QA, and other teams through the SDLC
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments and recommend enhancements
  • Monitor project outcomes and identify opportunities for future optimization
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with managers and end users
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience
