Skills
- Analog, power, and mixed-signal PCB design expertise
- Proficiency with Altium PCB tools
- Experience with power/signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC considerations
- Hands-on use of lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters
- Excellent solder rework and hands-on assembly skills
- Embedded systems and peripheral interface experience (I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet)
- Harness design and mechanical coordination
- Ability to make design and implementation decisions under schedule pressure
Responsibilities
- Design analog, power, thermal and mixed-signal subsystems from requirements through detailed design
- Perform schematic capture and power/signal integrity simulations and review PCB layouts
- Design harnesses including component selection, signal definitions, length coordination with mechanical, and fabrication drawings
- Plan and oversee design validation and qualification campaigns (power/signal integrity, EMI/EMC, interoperability)
- Design interfaces to sensors, actuators and thermal systems
- Support manufacturing and systems teams on electrical subsystem integration and production issues
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or related field
- Relevant professional experience in electronics design leading to manufacturing
