Job Description
The purpose of this job is to, under limited supervision, review and file federal, state and local income tax returns with a focus on flow-through taxation.
In this role you will:
- Review federal, state and local income tax returns with a focus on flow- through taxation (i.e., S Corporations, Partnerships)
- Prepare responses to notices and audit information requests from various federal, state and local authorities
- Supervise and train entry-level staff
- Assist accounting department with tax account reconciliations
- Act as the lead on other accounting projects
- Research and analyze technical tax issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- Master’s degree in accounting or taxation preferred
- Minimum three year’s experience in public accounting or corporate/ public accounting preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or pursuit of CPA preferred
- Partnership multi-state, multi-entity experience preferred
