Phare Health is on a mission to fundamentally reimagine healthcare payments. Founded by former leaders from DeepMind and Google Health and backed by General Catalyst, we’re building the first comprehensive platform that restores trust and fairness to healthcare payments—bringing clarity, transparency, and equity to the complex interactions between payers and providers.
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, mission-driven team at the earliest stage - helping to shape the direction of the company, the product, and the future of healthcare itself.
We’re looking for an exceptional Implementation/Delivery Manager to lead the charge on our partnership rollouts. In this role, you'll drive the deployment, training, and adoption of our digital tools in healthcare environments, ensuring seamless integration from contract to go-live and beyond.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (commercial, product, engineering, data science) and client stakeholders, you’ll bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world healthcare operations. This role blends project management, change management, and communication skills with a deep understanding of healthcare, operations, and tech.
As an early team member, you’ll play a key role in shaping Phare Health’s implementation playbook and internal processes. You’ll start by executing hands-on projects and coordinating high-stakes deployments for new clients. As you make an impact and grow with the company, your responsibilities will evolve, potentially leading to a leadership role and shaping broader strategy for scaling customer onboarding. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn, take ownership, and grow within a fast-paced startup.
Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed implementation plans, ensuring timely and successful deployments from kickoff to go-live.
Lead Client Onboarding: Be the primary point of contact and project lead for new customer implementations, building strong relationships and setting the foundation for long-term success.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, data) and client IT/operations teams to ensure requirements are met and issues are resolved quickly.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to internal leadership and clients, ensuring alignment on wins, challenges, and timelines.
Workflow Integration: Assess client workflows and configure our platform to seamlessly integrate into their clinical and administrative processes.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Track progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and resolve issues by coordinating with internal teams or adjusting project scope as needed.
Process Improvement: Document and refine implementation processes to enhance repeatability and scalability as we onboard more clients.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all implementations comply with healthcare data privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA and data governance best practices.
Internal Projects: Support internal projects as needed, contributing to various aspects of the startup’s growth.
Experienced Project Driver: 5+ years in project management or software implementation in healthcare or regulated industries (bonus for experience deploying enterprise healthcare products - i.e., hospital, health system, and payer customers - especially product deployment involving EHR integration/claims data).
Highly Organized: Skilled at juggling priorities and maintaining precision under tight timelines.
Excellent Communicator: Able to explain complex technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem Solver: Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues quickly with a solution-focused mindset.
Results-Driven: Adaptable and outcomes-focused in a fast-paced, shifting startup environment.
Passionate About Healthcare & Tech: Eager to make an impact in healthcare, with interest in AI, automation, and compliance.
Collaborative Team Player: Works well in cross-functional teams and values feedback to achieve shared goals.
Ownership Mentality: Takes responsibility for tasks, ensuring success with accountability and a positive attitude.
Open to Travel: This is a hybrid role based in New York but will require occasional travel.
