Electrical Engineer - Counter - C5ISR
Responsibilities
Peraton Labs is seeking a Counter-C5ISR Engineer to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position will be on site 5 days a week. The chosen candidate will act in a technical engineering role supporting modeling and simulation, lab-based hardware in the loop simulations, and system development. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RF electronic warfare.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysis and experimentation
- Signal processing experience, especially when working with radar systems and radar data.
- Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) waveforms and systems
- MATLAB for code development / interfacing with lab hardware / data analysis
- Preparation and presentation of technical data
- Planning and executing Army Science and Technology efforts
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have these qualifications
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- US Citizenship
- Design knowledge and experience in the areas of RF and electrical engineering
- Knowledge of SAR architectures, capabilities and waveforms, and Counter SAR experience
- ISR operations
- RF closed loop HW evaluations (working with cable connected RF / Effects at raw IQ level)
- AiTR algorithms for wide area images / Wide area surveillance imaging and image processing

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
