Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Skills
- 5-7+ years software development with platform/cloud infrastructure focus
- 3+ years production Python experience
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch)
- Experience with data stores: Postgres/MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, S3
- Experience with IaC (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Observability experience (Datadog or similar) and centralized logging
- Network design and IAM experience for secure, highly available systems
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve AWS and on-prem datacenter infrastructure and deployments
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and build/deploy systems to improve developer workflows
- Implement and maintain centralized monitoring, logging, and observability to improve visibility and SRE practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve scaling, performance, and reliability bottlenecks with engineering teams
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and configuration management for reproducible deployments
- Contribute to system design, capacity planning, security (IAM, networking, firewalls), and operational runbooks
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline preferred
- Equivalent practical experience in lieu of degree accepted
