We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

This role is part of PayPal’s Compliance Platform organization. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to drive innovation in regulatory technology and ensure our data-driven products and systems meet high standards for performance, scalability, and global alignment.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analyses to identify and address data quality issues.
• Create and test data quality rules based on existing issues and data profiling.
• Validate and test data quality process control points for critical data elements.
• Capture, track, and present insights on the lifecycle of data quality issues.
• Contribute to the implementation and testing of enterprise-wide data quality dashboards and reporting.
• Define and promote best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation.
• Work with the finance organization to improve financial metrics and support decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Help with monthly reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc deep dive analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with2+ years of relevant experienceorBachelor’sdegree with4+ years of experience.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills; experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Experience or interest in solving complex business problems using data-driven approaches.
• Experience or interest in finance, compliance, risk, or other regulated industries is a plus.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $94,000 to $156,200
