Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to develop, productionize, and monitor ML models at scale.
- Oversee design and deployment of algorithms, including GenAI/LLM models, to support trial execution.
- Collaborate with clinicians, informaticists, engineers, and stakeholders to align data science work with business goals.
- Define model specifications, gather requirements, and drive creation of training and validation datasets.
- Coordinate integration of ML models into production infrastructure with engineering teams.
- Establish long-term technical vision and promote best practices in model development, code quality, and review.
- Communicate technical and business value of data science initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
