Account Operations Specialist, East Coast

Palmetto is a mission-driven clean tech company delivering software, financial products, and services to accelerate home electrification and renewable adoption. The Account Operations Specialist will manage the LightReach installers pipeline, handle partner accounting inquiries, analyze aging accounts, and work cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial processing while improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Monitor, track, and manage aging customer and partner accounts to ensure timely resolution
Analyze aging reports, identify trends and discrepancies, and recommend remediation strategies
Serve as primary point of contact for partner accounting inquiries and provide timely resolutions
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Work cross-functionally with accounting, finance, sales, relationship management, and customer success
Prepare regular pipeline and financial status reports for senior management
Recommend partner offboarding or sales shutoffs for chronic or problematic partners
Document partner interactions, resolutions, and process updates to improve workflows

Education

Bachelor's degree required
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
