Job Description
Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing brings capital to property owners and developers to fund energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resiliency measures for their commercial properties. PACE Loan Group (PLG) is a top national direct C-PACE lender deploying our industry-leading balance sheet to originate and service C-PACE loans nationwide.
Because of our significant growth, PLG is adding an Analyst to our team in our Minneapolis headquarters. You will learn about a type of real estate finance whose prevalence has grown exponentially from our seasoned real estate finance veterans. People who excel in the PLG Analyst program have many internal career growth options, either as underwriters, originators, or loan servicers/asset managers.

Skills for success in the role:
· Strong interest in commercial real estate finance (recent college graduates with demonstrated interest is OK)
· Attention to detail + highly organized
· Critical thinking, analysis, and research skills
· Highly proficient at Excel
· Strong collaboration skills + ability to work independently
· Problem-solving attitude (identifies issues, but also suggest solutions)
· Desire for a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, quality work product
What you may do in the role includes, but is not limited to:
· Assist deal teams to qualify potential C-PACE projects
· Complete detailed financial analysis of potential C-PACE projects to fund, including identifying C-PACE eligible upgrades and preliminarily confirming property value
· Review various states’ C-PACE program guidelines to assist with C-PACE loan pre-underwriting and compliance
· Draft template term sheets
· Assist in deal closing
· Identify and develop relationships with real estate developers, mortgage brokers, and third-party service providers
· Support the relationship management of existing PLG relationships
· Understand the nuances of various C-PACE programs
· Other tasks as assigned by your manager
