Product Specialist, BizOps

About the Role
As a Product Specialist, BizOps, you’ll operate in a zero-to-one environment - taking ideas from scratch, shaping them with users, and turning them into products people love. You’ll combine domain expertise, product intuition, and rapid prototyping to transform complex business processes into intuitive user experiences. You’ll work directly with users, identify design partners, and iterate toward product-market fit with an emphasis on deep user trust and delight.This role is based in San Francisco, CA, but can consider remote for the right person. We follow a hybrid model (3 days/week in-office) and offer relocation support.

In this role, you will

• Prototype and ship operational tools and front-end flows at startup speed (days, not quarters).

• Engage directly with users to uncover pain points, test ideas, and shape solutions.

• Identify and collaborate with design partners to validate direction and accelerate learning.

• Translate domain knowledge into product features: instrument feedback, create lightweight data loops, and run rapid experiments.

• Iterate toward product-market fit - refining UX until it earns deep user love and drives meaningful adoption.

• Partner with product, engineering, and research teams to diagnose pain points and deliver impactful solutions.

• Partner with researchers to diagnose failure modes, propose domain-targeted fixes (prompts, data collection & fine-tuning), and validate with evals/A/Bs.

• Build data/feedback loops: instrument telemetry, design in-product labeling/triage, and generate high-quality signals that improve models.

• Excel in zero-to-one settings - comfortable with ambiguity, fast cycles, and owning outcomes end to end.

• Love talking to users, digging into workflows, and translating insights into product direction.

• Have a product vision: you connect domain needs to a roadmap and can articulate the “why” behind UX and product decisions.

• Move fluidly between business context, UX thinking, and technical prototyping.

• Can code up front-end prototypes (React/TypeScript or similar) to validate ideas quickly.

• Move from concept to shipped product quickly, balancing craft with pragmatism.
