Skills
- Proven expertise designing and operating AWS cloud architectures at scale.
- Advanced experience running and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Strong Terraform and Ansible skills for IaC and configuration management.
- Experience with Datadog for APM, metrics, and logging.
- Proficiency with Docker image build/deploy and container orchestration.
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting of persistent hosts and volumes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Omada’s cloud infrastructure and platform services to support digital health products and high availability requirements.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration for production workloads.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
- Maintain and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
- Implement monitoring, observability, custom metrics, and alerting using Datadog.
- Collaborate with product engineers, AI/ML engineers, data scientists, InfoSec, and IT to deliver platform solutions.
- Design redundancy and disaster recovery strategies for critical services.
- Mentor and guide engineers on the Platform team and across the org; participate in pair programming.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents when they arise.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree in a technical field is a plus but not required.
