Skills
- Strong software engineering experience (5+ years).
- Proficiency in Go or strong systems languages (C/C++/Rust) with willingness to learn Go.
- Experience with DevOps/GitOps, automation, and testing frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, storage architectures, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native tech: Kubernetes, containers, microservices.
- Performance benchmarking and large-scale debugging skills.
- Customer-facing experience with empathy and strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and optimize core MinIO software for performance, scalability, and security.
- Build and deliver high-performance distributed storage solutions with cloud-native architectures.
- Validate software in customer environments and ensure smooth deployments.
- Automate testing, benchmarking, and validation workflows.
- Investigate, debug, and fix critical issues in large-scale production systems.
- Collaborate on architecture, APIs, and integrations with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Contribute to open-source repositories and maintain well-documented, maintainable code.
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues, set expectations, and deliver solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
