Telecom Designer - Data Center
Skills
- Proficient in CAD/BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience designing low voltage, telecommunications, audio/visual systems, and security/access control.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within engineering and design teams.
- Familiarity with Cellular DAS, PSDAS, ROIP, and ERRCS design is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD/BIM software to design data center and building communication systems including cable routing and equipment layouts.
- Work collaboratively under guidance to deliver high-quality design outputs and innovative engineering solutions.
- Manage project components carefully to ensure precise and accurate design from start to finish.
- Participate in client meetings promoting Olsson's excellence and client partnerships.
- Travel to job sites as needed to support project implementation and success.
Education
- Associate degree in Drafting and Design preferred.
