Skills
- 5+ years Java development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JPA
- 5+ years working with relational databases and SQL
- Proven REST API design and implementation experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) and automated testing (JUnit)
- Ability to debug production systems and perform data-driven fixes
- Good communication skills and effective teamwork
- Familiarity with allocation/workflow engine concepts and trade processing workflows
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve Sky Road's Order Management System (OMS) functionality, performance, and configuration
- Support and extend the Allocation Engine and associated trade allocation algorithms
- Support and extend the Workflow Engine used for client-specific compliance and trade booking processes
- Design, build and maintain REST APIs and backend services
- Write automated JUnit and regression tests and participate in CI/CD pipelines
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, including data corrections and mitigation suggestions
- Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and promote a clean, readable codebase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver features and fixes on schedule
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
