Recruiter (SAP, Manufacturing IT, Controls Engineering)

North Point Technology is expanding its commercial staffing division and seeks a delivery-focused recruiter experienced in sourcing SAP, manufacturing IT, and controls engineering talent. This contract role supports long-term engineering and IT programs for manufacturing and automotive clients, filling hard-to-fill technical roles tied to plant operations, SAP systems, and industrial automation.

Skills

  • Experience recruiting technical talent in manufacturing, automotive, industrial engineering, or SAP environments
  • Proven ability to source passive candidates and niche skill sets
  • Familiarity with ATS workflows and candidate submission processes
  • Understanding of contract staffing models and W2 placements
  • Strong communication, follow-through, and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Source passive and active candidates for SAP, manufacturing IT, controls engineering, and plant-floor technology roles using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and network
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, communication skills, and pay expectations
  • Submit candidates directly into the ATS and track status
  • Provide daily pipeline updates and collaborate with leadership to prioritize roles
  • Manage candidate outreach, interview coordination, and offer process support for contract/W2 placements
  • Deliver consistent weekly candidate output and move quickly on niche requisitions

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Relevant training or certifications in recruiting or HR helpful but not required
