Vice President, Program Team Lead (PTL)-Biotech/Pharma experience required

Neumora Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapies for brain diseases. The Vice President, Program Team Lead will drive strategic management and operational execution for one or more neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative development programs, building and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data and advance program decisions.

Skills

  • Proven leadership in complex matrix organizations
  • Deep experience in clinical program leadership and drug development operations
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and experience with filings
  • Advanced scientific understanding relevant to neuroscience and small molecule programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
  • Financial acumen for resource and budget planning
  • Advanced program and project management skills, including risk mitigation and contingency planning

Responsibilities

  • Lead program core team to define strategy, timelines, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments and contingencies
  • Ensure quality and integrity of program data to support company-level decision making
  • Drive decision-making, issue resolution and governance interactions
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and stakeholder communication internally and externally
  • Challenge assumptions and create alternative scenarios to enable strategic and operational agility
  • Prioritize program activities to maximize program value and manage project variance with root-cause analysis
  • Serve as program spokesperson and represent the program to senior management and external stakeholders
  • Partner with Project Manager to maintain comprehensive program information in internal systems and deliver program communications

Education

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree with a medical or scientific focus
