Requirements

You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You: 

  • Are at least 18 years old and hold the necessary requirements for an Assistant Teacher in Oklahoma, which include the ability to pass a background check, a high school diploma or GED, hold CPR and first aid certifications, complete entry-level training, and fulfillment of professional development hours to maintain a OPDL certificate.
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.  
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances. 
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities

Your Role as an Assistant Teacher: 

We're looking for enthusiastic assistant teachers, like YOU, who are committed to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Your primary focus will be assisting in guiding young learners while prioritizing their safety and well-being. You'll also collaborate with the lead teacher to plan engaging activities that promote growth across various areas of development and cultivate strong partnerships with parents through open communication.
