Senior Product Manager

Who We Are

Murmuration is a nonprofit organization that amplifies the power of civic engagement by providing data, digital tools, and research-driven insights to community-focused organizations so that together we can create an America where everyone can lead healthy, free, and dignified lives.

Every day, people are trying to shape our future for the better. Fighting for water that’s safe to drink. Schools that serve students equitably. Gun laws that make sense. And rallying people who care like we do. And yet too often the skillful organizers working to mobilize communities lack access to technology that could supercharge their efforts. Knocking on every door instead of knowing which will open most easily. And going up against outside interests that have half the heart, but twice the tools.

In communities across America, Murmuration’s partners are leveraging our data, tools, and insights to help thousands of organizers orchestrate millions of individual people to do big things together. Demand big things together. To create the world they want. Together.

About the Position

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead key components of Organizer, Murmuration’s SaaS platform, which provides data, insights, and tools to community-focused organizations to foster meaningful connections and activate communities. You'll work with a talented team to build user flows and features related to core platform experiences – things like CRM/data management, campaign management, or community outreach through a variety of channels. You'll discover what users value most and help translate those learnings into quality product experiences. You will ultimately help lead the development of the most effective and intuitive platform for advocacy and community organizing.

You’ll join our team of Product Managers developing a suite of mobile and web applications – all focused on helping our partners increase civic engagement for a more equitable future. You’ll work closely with the Organizer engineering team, designers, leadership, and community partners to deepen understanding of user needs, champion thoughtful design solutions, and help ensure Organizer evolves in ways that meaningfully support civic engagement efforts.

  • Data fluency and insight-driven decision making: Hands-on experience diving into analytics, user research, and behavioral data to uncover actionable insights that shape product direction;
  • Design thinking and user-centric approach: Practical knowledge of UX principles with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and advocate for intuitive user experiences;
  • Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management: Proven ability to align diverse teams, navigate competing priorities, and build consensus across departments while keeping projects moving forward;
