Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Electrical preferred).
10–15 years of engineering experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
Direct project management experience, including construction supervision and unit control projects.
Strong knowledge of AC and DC circuits, and high-voltage systems.
Maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.
Contract administration experience a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams.
Develop and manage capital investment strategies, programs, and projects.
Ensure compliance with plant and federal safety standards.
Oversee plant power distribution systems (high, medium, and low voltage).
Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment for engineering initiatives.
Monitor and control capital spending while managing an engineering project portfolio.
Identify and implement process improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Support maintenance teams with troubleshooting electrical and combustion systems.
Provide training and mentorship to maintenance electricians.
Coordinate departmental systems upgrades and ensure sustainable operations.
Drive functional excellence initiatives and share best practices across teams.
