We are seeking someone to join our U.S Bank Capital Planning team as a Director in Capital Planning to work across a variety of internal and regulatory initiatives including supporting the Bank's Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) efforts.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. This is a Director level position within the Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning Job Family which is responsible for planning, managing, forecasting and optimizing capital, liquidity and funding resources; governance oversight of Treasury and Capital Planning; setting frameworks, policies and guidelines for appropriate management of these resources; managing regulatory deliverables and exams; managing CCAR/Capital Stress Testing/Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) process.

What you'll do in the role:
> Assist with the capital component of Bank Recovery and Resolution Plan processes
> Collaborate across multiple teams to maintain and enhance documentation, capabilities and processes, including strategic change initiatives and remediation efforts in response to regulatory feedback
> Assist with program management, reporting and ad hoc governance or regulatory requests
> Assist with drafting policies and procedures
> Assist in the production and coordination of presentations for senior management and steering committees
> Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
> Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
What you'll bring to the role:
> Experience of working in a high-paced environment and use multi-tasking to your advantage
> Professional experience in financial services, accounting or management consulting
> Familiarity with Treasury, Capital Planning and Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) is a plus but not required
> Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt to various audiences
> Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
> Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work, attention to detail and accuracy is essential
> Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
> Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
> Self-motivation and the ability to work well in a team
> At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this required for this role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
