Skills
- Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems
- Experience with multi-core ARM processors and embedded architectures
- Strong understanding of OS concepts: thread scheduling, context switching, memory management
- Experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, or Android on ARM platforms
- Familiarity with electrical bus communications: UART, CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI
- Experience with wireless connectivity: WiFi and Bluetooth (BLE) and general IoT connectivity
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems
- Experience writing automated/unit tests and test harnesses for firmware
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance firmware and embedded software for telematics and IoT platforms
- Debug, optimize, and validate firmware on complex multi-core embedded architectures
- Develop automated and unit-level functional tests to validate features and ensure reliability
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary product, hardware, and backend teams to design and deliver end-to-end features
- Implement modular, maintainable software components and contribute to architecture and design reviews
- Profile and optimize code for performance and memory usage on constrained devices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant hands-on embedded/firmware engineering experience
