Responsibilities
- Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda
- E-file documents in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Conduct legal research and factual investigation
- Prepare and respond to discovery including interrogatories and requests for production
- Draft and serve summons and coordinate depositions
- Organize exhibits, trial binders, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes and case files
- Assist attorneys with witness preparation and settlement matters
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external stakeholders
Education
- Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred
