SUMMARY
The Central Reservations Coordinator is responsible for completing the day-to-day administrative duties for properties serviced by the Central Reservations department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
- Complete all daily tasks to ensure accuracy and completion of all reservations
- Post advance deposits in a timely manner, including advance purchase bookings and third-party credit cards
- Audit all systems, review cancellations and refunds, missing deposits, and serve as point of contact for any inquiries from the properties finance teams
- Supports team sales and promotes Best Practices
- Serve as a liaison of information between Central Reservations Agents, multiple departments across the Cluster Reservations portfolio, and properties as needed
- Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
- Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with keen attention to details and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Open to learning, developing, and growing both yourself, personally, and helping others do the same
- Trustworthy and have integrity
- Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
- Prior hospitality or travel experience, a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.
