Full Stack Engineer (Mid-Level)
Skills
- 3-5 years professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or Java)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with API development and integration patterns
- Exposure to test-driven development and automation
- Working knowledge of a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understanding of caching strategies and container performance considerations
- Strong communication and ownership mindset
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs powering web and mobile clients
- Write and maintain tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels; own test quality
- Collaborate on containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes and contribute to CI/CD
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and coordinate with data engineers on implementations
- Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption patterns with security and compliance in mind
- Identify and help resolve performance bottlenecks and apply caching strategies
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and architectural discussions with senior engineers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
