Business Systems Analyst - Construction Operations
Skills
- Proficient in SQL and report-building (Crystal Reports, dashboards, pivot charts)
- Strong understanding of construction field operations (project controls, safety, subcontractor coordination, materials, quality)
- Experience with construction tools such as Primavera P6, B2W Track, Procore, ArcGIS, Bluebeam
- Familiarity with ERP systems and integrations for project accounting and mobile field apps
- Excellent stakeholder communication and change management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and process-improvement abilities
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and field teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL, Crystal Reports, and other BI tools
- Support ERP integrations for project accounting, mobile field applications, and scheduling/planning tools
- Coordinate testing, deployment, and user acceptance for system changes and enhancements
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users across departments
- Manage small-to-medium cross-functional projects and act as liaison between IT and business units
- Ensure alignment of technology solutions with operational goals and field asset management
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-8 years of related and/or operational experience in construction or hands-on industries, or equivalent
