- Firewall administration across cloud and on-prem platforms (Azure, Cloudflare, Meraki)
- Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Logic Apps)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Vulnerability assessment and remediation experience
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001)
- DLP and data protection tooling experience (Box Shield, Proofpoint)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Sumologic) and EDR (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint protection across the enterprise.
- Administer IAM systems (Entra ID) including SSO, MFA, and SCIM provisioning.
- Configure and maintain firewalls across Azure, Cloudflare, and Meraki.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, drive remediation, and support SOC 2 / NIST / ISO audit readiness.
- Conduct packet analysis and threat hunting using industry-standard tools.
- Support DLP tooling (Box Shield, Proofpoint) and data protection initiatives.
- Automate security workflows and onboarding/offboarding with Python, PowerShell, and Logic Apps.
- Provide systems administration for Microsoft 365, Azure AD, AD, Intune, AWS, Salesforce, Box, and other enterprise apps.
- Collaborate on audit evidence collection, compliance documentation, and cross-team communications.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, cybersecurity, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of cybersecurity or IT support experience
- Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+
