This position works closely with key marketing, and IT stakeholders to support the strategy, plans, and processes to enable the various applications of customer loyalty, personalization and customer engagement. This role contributes to growing and evolving our Fresh Thyme Loyalty program. This includes working with our IT teams to maintain a consistent team member and customer experience within the loyalty program. This role will maintain processes for offer targeting and set up and will partner with our external platform provider as needed to ensure superior user experience.

*Position will follow our hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Downers Grove IL office, Thursday-Friday remote. Travel is expected as needed.*

Key Deliverables:

  • Accurate and timely maintenance of loyalty targeting and offer set up through the Incentives Manager program
  • Testing and quality control of offers to ensure effectiveness
  • Works with relevant marketing and IT stakeholders to address customer and team member loyalty concerns and takes appropriate steps to remediate issues.
  • Contributes towards execution of marketing campaigns for customer engagement & loyalty programs consistent with Fresh Thyme brand strategies.
  • Works with marketing and merchandising stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of our loyalty and personalized programs to ensure maximum value and ROI is achieved.
  • Engage with the Digital User Experience team and IT team to create seamless, differentiated and simplified shopping interactions for customers and team members through our store and digital shopping experiences.
  • Mentor and coach to internal and external partners relative to the effective use of Customer Engagement and Loyalty programs, tools and methods.

Education and Experience:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma, Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited college preferred.
  • 2+ years Retail (Grocery) Industry specifically in Direct, Targeted, Digital, Loyalty, Personalization and various Customer Engagement programs CRM experience preferred.
  • Proficiency of computer systems is required. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Experience with Inmar’s Incentive Manager or a comparable loyalty platform preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must as the ability to accurately convey information to team members, management and store staff members is crucial. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Ability to adapt to the ever-changing high volume retail environment while working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must have the capacity to take initiative for making appropriate decisions and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
  • Must have advanced attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for maintaining effective business relationships with peers, senior management, customers, and vendors.
  • Must have advance knowledge with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills is essential.
  • Must be able to lead, support and contribute to team goals across multiple departments.

The pay range for this position is listed below. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$21.95 - $33.90


This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.

Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
